Port Arlington Old Mill and Bellarine Quilters

I saw some lovely quilts today. The venue was the Old Mill at Point Arlington .

Beautiful old building .....perfect to house a quilt exhibition. My lovely friend Sue Kiwikid is a member of this clever group of ladies .

There was some beautiful work......

Loved this beautiful quilt and got to say hello to its maker Jill Ward....

Of course had to get a piccie of friend Sue's lovely work.

This quilted ball was amazing.....
This was very sweet...
We also had a good look around at the mill and its treasures. My first job was a telephonist and apart from the handset bought back lots of memories for me.

I loved the beautiful old windows and timbers....very sturdy!

And no there was no sign of the Doctor in this sort of a tardis...do you remember them?
Lots of old collectables to admire....
We both enjoyed ourselves....thanks so much for the invite Sue.
Great work ladies.....
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx

  9. I love old buildings, the creaky wooden floors, the stone walls, etc. I too was a cord board operator from 1977 to 1979 when they went computerized. Worked in various departments for 32 yrs and retired. I love the window treatment and wolf quilt
