Tuesday's Treasure

Todays treasures were given to me by my Mum after she inherited them when my beloved Nan passed away as she knew how much I loved them. My Grandfather was a Home Mission minister for the Methodist church and so they were posted all over rural Queensland. Wherever they were posted this hallstand stood by the front door and it seemed to make the "new" place theirs straight away. It's got nicks and dings and marks from all it's travels but I love it. My Nan's photo sits on it and down the bottom is her old travel case which was also very well used. With encouragement from my Mum I painted her favourite flowers on the front which I think she would love. She loved her garden and flowers. I still miss her every day. She was such a great lady with love and kindness for all her knew her.
