Favourite things Friday.

Oh! Someone help me I think I am addicted to this blogging caper and I just love these occassions to find things that You love, treasure or are thankful for. So much nicer than focusing on the negative.
Anyway here I go again- I have chosen my little chiming clock that my husband gave me as a gift as I always wanted one that chimed like my Nanna's and it does. It makes it seem like home now. Silly I know but it does. Scoot over to Shay's to see my Favourite things http://fairybreadmusings.blogspot.com/

My grandmother has chiming clocks and it's such a pleasant sound - yours is so adorable and how nice that it has sentimental value, too!

  6. I think these events are wonderful , keeping us positive in such a negative world today . I love the clock ,it is gorgeous! I also love the sound of a clock ticking , we have an old chime clock but it is rather loud when it chimes in the middle of the night so we don't wind it anymore , sad I know but that is what age does to you ;-)

  13. Love old looking clocks and if they chime even better. I have my pop's clock it doesn't work anymore one day I am going to get it fixed so that it chimes and tells the time.
