FNWF and and Elfish Delivery

Santa's Elves have been very busy and left me a lovely package on my doorstop this morning and inside was all this gorgeousness....
OOOHH! I love red and cream. This is my gift in the 6 Christmas items swap from my Friends group and my little Angel was Jenny from Elephantz. Can't wait to see what's inside!!! The "under the Christmas tree" giftie is in place...
This was achieved with a minimum of squishing...I promise! Thank you Jenny.
Over the years I have been lucky enough to have little felt ornaments featured in Handmade Magazine in their Christmas issues...I now have quite a few and so I pop them on a little tree just for them. You may even recognise some of these wee ornies...
Will you be at Cheryll's tonight for...
I'll be there stitching with all my blogging friends near and far. You should come too!! It is great fun to see what everyone has been up too. I am going to finish my last strawberry block and do a spot of redwork.

I am going to leave you with a piccie of another gorgeous tree that comes into bloom in Summer here and that is the Poinciana tree. My Nan had a huge one that reached right across her verandah. They are a wonderful shade tree here in our sub-tropical climate.
Aren't the flowers beautiful.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend. My Mum has arrived so I am off to spend time with her.
Blessings Michelle xxx

Thanks for reminding me about Friday night...I won't be having a solitary quilt retreat after all this evening.
