Sunday Stitchers November

Yesterday we gathered for our November meeting. Marilyn did a wonderful job with our morning tea theme. One very close to our hearts....
Amputee Awareness....who choose the colour green.

Morning tea was very delicious!
Maria's darling little Granddaughter through contracting Sepsis is now amongst this group. So as I said,  close to our hearts.
All of the girls contributed a book we thought this little champion would like and delivered them into Maria's safe hands for her.
We will all continue to pray for her and send her all the healing love we can gather.
There was only a small number of show and tell but quality was Queen!
Cheryls beautiful and happy cot quilt.
Helen's tiny but very sweet wool embroidery.
Inca's WIP is just gorgeous and such an amazing amount of work with more to come.
Tatyanas beautiful as always Christmas cross stitch. We were sad also to say goodbye to Tatyana as she and her family are moving interstate for work. I wish them the very best in their new home.

I worked away on my 1797Revisted quilt.
Cannot quite believe next gathering Santa will be arriving!
My other sewing over the weekend was to make some koala paw mittens for wildlife carers, who are caring for our koalas burnt in our horrific bushfires. They were in dire straits before this happened.......so sad for humans and wildlife both!
So all there ties are now sewn on and in the post this morning. When I drew this piece called Precarious Real Estate.....I never realised just how "precarious "!
So hoping for a better week this week folks....so have a good one.
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx

  9. Your Sunday Stitchers group is so talented and it's great to see how you support worthy causes too. I adore Inca's quilt - it looks like a lot of work, for sure. The mittens are a cute and ever so worthy sew.
