Off on a Tangent

Hello fine folk. I haven't had too much to share of late. I have had a good old dose of the "dizzys ". I have low blood pressure and every now and then I get a bit swoony.  This has meant no reading, drawing  or sewing until the world rights itself. Thankfully it has passed and normal transmission can resume.
I am doing a little secret sewing....
Which I will share when I am done.
Another little postcard is on the go also.....sorry about the crinkles!
And now I am getting ready to stitch the last bits on my February UFO challenge.
Some leaves and a stem for this block...
The second block I have dithered over as I wasn't overly fond of the design on the side.....after some time I decided...Heck** when In doubt throw some hexies at it lol!
That's better! I do worry about myself sometimes. I just can't always follow the pattern to the letter....ah well!
The other nice thing is back to reading. I was half way through the second one when I had to stop.....enjoyed them both!
That's me caught up.
Sending healing hugs and thoughts to my fellow Queenslanders in the North 💖
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx

  1. Pleased to read you are feeling better & over your dizzies Michelle. I had a tooth removed & the medication he put me on gave me two days of the dizzies. Not fun at all. Pleased you are back creating your beauties again Xxx

  13. I'm glad you are getting back to normal after your swooning. I don't think there is anything wrong with putting your own spin on designs, it is your project after all.

  15. Glad to hear you are better!
Patterns are just a guide - in my book - as you know!
Terrible up north - so glad everyone I know up there (especially my 37 week pregnant daughter) are all OK...but so devastating for those with no home or no possessions left - and now the farmers have flood after years of drought.

  16. So pleased you are back on track. That must be very frustrating. You definitely must be feeling good because your stitching is looking delightful.
It is annoying not even be able to read. That's the second Graham Norton book for you. Was it as good as the first ?

  18. I am loving your version of the Floral Bouquet quilt...and yes, I agree, the hexies down the side are a great improvement on the odd looking blocks in the original. (Yes I have the book, yes it's on my to-do list!!!!!!!) Sorry to hear you weren't very well, I hope it's well and truely in the past now :-)
