Here Comes April

I hope you are all enjoying your Easter weekend. I have had time with family.....
Experienced a little population explosion of chocolate bunnies..
And achieved a few sewing tasks I had hoped to get done. The first on my list was to get my Baltimore Quilt basted ready for hand quilting this winter.....

So happy to have it all ready to go now.....the how is the next question!
I thought after getting this done if I could get a few more blocks together in Gardener's Journal I would be a happy bunny!
You could say I got carried away lol! TA DA! A finished flimsy!

This was after ripping out the cottage and resewing the borders around it. What I had was tooooo bright and dominated too much. I did discover after the resewing I should have had little 4 patches instead of 2 1/2 inch squares....but pffft! Wasn't coming out again!
Some little close ups....

I love these sweet blocks....

Very happy stitcher.....back to my Angels now.
My Blue ginger bloomed in celebration lol!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx
