Rendered Speechless & FNWF

The next instalment in my on going Birthday celebrations. I warn you it is extremely photo heavy and extremely sentimental so don't say I didn't tell you!!! On Wednesday night I was excited to go and stitch with my lovely friends as it had been a few weeks between gatherings. We met at gorgeous Diane's house.
Turns out they had all been PLOTTING behind my back and the only one not going to the stitching gatherings was myself....sneaky possums!!! But I am getting ahead of myself.
The first surprise of the evening occurred when my best friend Ann casually walks in from her home up the North Coast about 2 hours drive away....
Much hugging and blubbing on my account I can tell you....see that bag I am carrying? Well as my Birthday is close to Christmas in July and I am a Christmasaholic, my Bestie gives me this gorgeous fellow...
This is the gorgeous card Ann made for me...she is a very clever Vegemite! I adore it! I also received a lovely Best Friend bead for my Pandora bracelet.....talk about spoilt rotten!! But it didn't stop there.....
Robyn M crocheted me the most beautiful scarf and Diane gave me some gorgeous bling to go with it. We all agree Diane has the most exquisite taste in anything she chooses or stitches!!
Now as if all that wasn't enough Theresa out did herself with a rinky dink homemade sponge cream cake. Oh My! Heaven!
I really was hoping for those firemen with all those candles lol and the girls were brave enough to give me a sharp knife..
Remember that parcel I showed you yesterday??? Well what was in it left me speechless (something that is very difficult to do to me)...
You see Diane, Monica, Theresa, Robyn P., Sue and Robyn M had gotten together and made me this absolutely beautiful quilt when we "Weren't" having our stitching gathering.
As you can see by my face I am amazed and completely blown away. The quilt was beautifully quilted by Monica and on the back is a gorgeous hand embroidered label worked by Robyn M.
The girls have since signed their names on the label.
The fabrics are so delicious and I shall treasure it forever....Thank you Beautiful friends xxxx

I have had sent to me by the girls some photos of the construction of the quilt so I am going to post about it at a later date because I just have to record their love and generosity.
If you think that this is the end of my Birthday ruination well NO! I have more gorgeousness to post about next time. Plus 3 more lovely packages arrived with the postie today.
Last but not least I am joining all my blogging friends over at Cheryll's for...
There 'will' be hand quilting and there 'will' be Tim Tams!!!!
Enjoy your weekend everyone and......I hope you enjoyed this epistle Robyn M....and I know what you are doing LOL!!!
Blessings Michelle xxx
