Are you Coming with Us??

Well here we go again...on the road again. We do love a road trip. If you think you will be bored or hate other peoples holiday snaps best come back in a few weeks. If not well....we have enjoyed the most glorious day. Sunshine, blue skies and not at all chilly as I expected although I am expecting that to change the further south we go. The weather man has not been filling us with joy.
I do love this time of year when all the wattle is in bloom and we have been treated to every shade from cream, gold and bright fluro yellow. The photo doesn't do it justice but there was mile after mile of it and I for one never tire of it.
I haven't got my drive and shoot muscle working yet with the camera as we zoom by things but I did take this one whilst stopped at roadworks of which there has been many.
Lunch time saw us in Celtic Country in Glen Innes. We always go up to the Standing Stones and this time it was a glorious clear day. Last time we were here we spent it in the car as it was pizzzling down.
Not this time...
Don't you love the wild hair...that's called "getting up at 4.30am in the morning hair" LOL!
Now can you tell this bloke comes from Queensland...
Did the shorts give him away!!! Mr R. caught between a rock and a hard place.
It is a lovely spot...
Tonight we are bunkered down in Tamworth, New South Wales...Australia's Country Music Capital and I can tell you there is a definite chill in the air.....flanno Jim Jams are ready and Ugg Boots are on the tooties with the heater on.
Ok off to get a spot of dinner and then maybe a little stitching before bed.
Until next time,
Blessings Michelle xxx
