A Finish!

You may recall that I collected 2 quilts from friend FIONA at the end of our trip.
Yesterday I needed a break from stitching my GJ cottage so I got into binding mode.

Then sat and stitched the binding down while watching the footy Grand Final. Gave me an opportunity to admire close up Fiona's beautiful work. I  tried to capture the sparkles on the quilting on the hearts and Angel but not sure if you will see it....love it.

Perfect I thought for an Angel. Also beautiful feathers in the border.
Love the work in the nine patches and little squares.
And the finished quilt......
As you know this quilt almost, accidentally ended up in the charity bin....phew!
It was such a mish mash of left over Robyn Pandolph fabrics at the time and then to finish whatever I could kind of match from my stash. I am still amazed at how it all has come together......of course Fiona's magic quilting helped a lot lol!
And of course when I consulted the "Quilters Regulations Manual" I discovered that  a finish means you can consider a new project ......and I do like to follow the rules lol!
So??
Maybe? My dear friend who recently passed away gifted me this book and I  thought I would like to make this quilt. I have a lovely assortment of Paris Fleamarket fabric that has been waiting so long for just the right project.....hmmmmmm?
Perhaps this is the one. Gardener's Journal first though. Hope I can stay focused lol....
We are enjoying some lovely showers here.......it has been so dry so it is very welcome!

Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx
