Work of Heart

Recently I have had the joy to work on two art projects which were truly "works of heart". Yesterday I was able to deliver one to my dear friend Kay. She and I are lovers of all creatures great and small. Recently her beautiful girl ELLA went over the Rainbow Bridge. I was so happy that I could gift her Ella's beautiful face from my drawing pad. I have enjoyed many pats and hugs over time with sweet Ella xx
I promised Kay that I would post my other piece that I did for my friend Fiona. I had heard her mention her love of African Wild Dogs from her homeland and so wanted to draw her one....of course the day I wanted photos at Dubbo Zoo they refused to oblige! Thankfully I have a generous friend who gave me one of her successful pics.
I loved every minute of this piece. The hard bit was not telling Fiona and keeping my trap shut until her birthday lol!
Both gifts were received with love and gratitude. ...made my heart happy.
I had a lovely day stitching with friends over at Kays yesterday. Lots of yummy food and good company....actually did get some stitching done...a little bit more of Blessings.
Today I am playing with these from my stash...
Heritage Hollow by Kim Diehl.....I decided I had to stop loving them so much and start using them.
Ok must away. Enjoy the rest of your day.
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx

  12. Thank you so much Michelle, your picture of my girl is an exact likeness, the depth in her eyes and her lovely glossy black coat, it's as beautiful as she was in life. I hope you know just how much I will treasure this in my heart, it's hard to put into words just what it means. These furry people leave such a hole. Ella has gone to the framers and I hope the mats and frame I chose will complement your artwork. Blessings Michelle and thanks.
