Antedote to Cabin Fever.

Good Morning all and welcome to a brand new week. I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
My husband works in the city in an office and suffers from the equivalent to 'cabin fever' and when this happens it's in the car and a drive is on and when I say a 'drive' we never go just down the road. Saturday afternoon we drove to Redcliffe which is a lovely bayside suburb on the other side of town to us despite the fact it was raining. We did get a walk along the foreshore which I will show you another post without getting too wet and had a lovely coffee and a slice of Key Lime Pie...YUM!
The view through the rainy windscreen.
Now Sunday morning dawned bright and sunny so a picnic was suggested and no plans were made except we were heading south. We ended up at a beautiful beachside spot in Northern NSW called 'Brooms Head' ONLY about a 3 hour drive from home. Still it was a lovely spot for a picnic.
This was our picnic spot under the trees looking out over the ocean.

Now it may sound incredibly selfish but I love a deserted beach and having it all to myself (the camera man was of course the exception)

You can't always trust the camera man to get your best angle though can you?

Further up the beach there was a bit of weed had blown in but it was so beautiful and peaceful. We decided we would end our big trip later this year here at this great spot and spend a few days chilling out before heading home and getting back into real life.
These beautiful roses from MO are for my very special daughter with love from her Mum xxx.
Have a wonderful week everyone,
Blessings Michelle xx
