FTF & Friday Night with Friends

First of all Good Morning February. I know so many lovely people who celebrate their Birthdays this month. Seems a lot of great people were born in February. I have 2 favourites for FTF this week.
The first is as promised my Grandson in his uniform on the first day of school..what is it about that first photo? Hope he is still this enthusiastic for the next 12 years....
Very cute! My second fav this week is Series 3 of Downton Abbey which I have devoured with relish while tied to my chair quilting. I ordered it from Fishpond before Christmas and haven't had time to watch it until now in peace. I didn't want it spoiled by groaning from the chair next to me.
Definitely a box of tissues job but so worth it. So sad it is over. Where is series 4??????? Gee I hope there is a Series 4! Do you have a favourite? If so pop over to Shay's at Quilting in my Pyjamas and share it.
I am also going to visit Cheryll  tonight for...
Will you be there too? I shall be still hand quilting "Strawberries" but I am sure having company all over Australia will help me get it done.
That's it from me today as I must dash....Yoga class awaits.
Blessings Michelle xx

  8. The kids don't enjoy it, but I still love to take the first day back at school photo every year. Your Grandson looks very happy to be going.....I hope it lasts. I have started FNWF early, I'm making a day of it, so I hope I'm still going tonight.

  15. I love it when you say groaning in the chair next to me. You are so funny. But it does feel good to be able to watch a good movie without any interruptions. Your grandson is so cute. What a great picture.

  16. Complete Downton Abbey fan here (Mr. P loves it too so we watch it together - I bet he doesnt go into work on Mondays talking about that little detail though!)

Your grandson looks so cute all dressed up for school. I recall thinking that Miss P looked so grown up in her first day at school photos but when I look back now I realise how little she really was!
