Good morning. As promised Tiny Teacup Teddies pattern is now ready...
The cost is $14.00 AUD. Paypal is my preferred payment option. Postage is extra for overseas customers. Email me to order on michelleridgway53@hotmail.com
I had a lady ask me "but what would you do with it?"
Well! For those of us who are bear lovers....it's bears!!
That's all we need! But....
You could use it on a little bear lover's dressing table.
Or for a little girl and her bears teaparties (bears do love a nice teaparty)
A friend is using the stitcheries to make a cuddle quilt, another placemats for her Granddaughters. Hope that has helped ...if you were wondering.
Enjoy your day.

Here Comes Monday...
I love an early morning wander with the sun just coming over the hill.
There is a peace that descends as soon as your feet hit the path.
Sadly only a trickle of water in the creek....
I love this place.....small but oh so precious.
My weekend was a mixed bag some domestic duties and a little bit of stitching....well prep anyway. I finally got to the cutting board to cut out the little Dresdens background.
Of course there was not enough of the stitchery background for them!!! So staying true to my "stash only" rash statement I found something that looks ok...I hope!
The stitcheries are all done and I love the Dresdens.
Appliquing the Dresdens on has begun. Then after that making up the projects.
Progress!
I have a little house guest...Miss Sophie!
She however declined a close up...
Lol! Like herding cats!
Wishing you a lovely Monday.

Bitsy FNWF
I had a busy day yesterday which included catching up with my dear friend Megan who now lives overseas in the UK. I haven't seen her for over 4 Years and it was wonderful to hug her in real time and have a big old natter. We keep in touch through the wonders of social media but nothing will ever beat spending face to face time.
I was on my own last evening as Mr R. was off doing boy stuff with cars and such. But I couldn't seem to get my act together. So I just curled up in my chair and I had a good old read of my new magazine.
Eventually I got out my stitching and finished off my 4 little Dresden Plates.
As I hadn't been organised enough to have cut out there background blocks earlier I decided to finish appliquing the circle down on my Blessings block 2. Please excuse the unpressed state of it...but I got it done.
Next I began the EPP star for the centre.
I didn't get too far before weariness defeated me. After thinking nothing much was going to be achieved I was quite pleased at the little bits of progress.
If you stitched along with us all I hope you enjoyed your time as well.
Thank you Cheryll for bringing us together in frienship for another year xx
Happy weekend.

Summer Reading and Stitching
Are you a rereader of favourite books or are you a oncer! I am the first. I tend to take stories to my heart, fall in love with their characters and I love to revisit them from time to time. One of those is this one...
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd is a beautiful story. I have taken myself on a little visit back to it's pages...love it. It has been made into a movie also which I really enjoyed....it's always a worry that you will be disappointed. But I wasn't. What's one of your favourites to revisit?
I have been stitching too!
I put aside my stitchery to see if I could put together a Dresden Plate that complemented the stitcheries and fabrics I showed you last post....
I think it's not too bad. This one is truly organic...it's evolving as I go along...just hope they don't overpower the stitchery now! Oh decisions, decisions! I wonder what it's like to be a rational and organised thinker lol! Only time will tell.
Better get the last stitchery finished. So I can see how this is going to come together...hhmm?
My Furry Logic flipover for today says it best....
Enjoy your day.

Rain on the Roof
I love the sound of rain on the roof when you are lying in your bed. Nice soft raindrops....the garden is loving them too.
Oh how I wish I could send it to those who need it....
Some areas of Queensland have had some decent falls and others not....Rain! Such a precious thing. Hoping it keeps falling for those who really need it.
This city slicker has been rifling through her stash for pretty candidates for her new little project...
They go so nicely with the thread I am using I think. I have had the little print earmarked for a while now. Even though I tend to use mainly DMC tbreads, Country Garden Threads Mistletoe is one I love and use a lot too.
I also have a hankering for some of these.
These baby Dresdens are so sweet when done....the trick is going to be finding complimentary scrappies to make the blades from my stash...I do like a challenge.
Well. Best finish the last little stitchery and then get started on my little plates.
Whatever you are doing, do it with your whole heart. It changes the ordinary into the sacred.
Nana joy...my gorgeous girls!

Lots of Words Under the Bridge
Good morning to you all. Today I have been a happy little blogger for 4 years. Yes Blogaversary! I started out with such trepidation but now couldn't imagine my life without my online journal and wonderful friends I have made along the way. You are all a constant source of inspiration to me. I love that we can share our thoughts, ups and downs, daily lives and our creative passions. So thank you for receiving my words with such kindness and interest xxx
I never make new year resolutions...nor do I often make lists! I often think perhaps I should, but as "should" is one of my least favourite words, I avoid it lol! More of a meandering Mary, me! What did John Lennon say " Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans "
I have begun the year with packing up Santa's sleigh until next time and restoring the old favs.
A little bit of stitching has taken place...a new pattern in the works..I really love CGT Mistletoe and decided why should I just use it for Christmas stitching, especially when I have pretty fabric that will match beautifully.
I will share more as I go along....it is quite sweet and I think you will like it.
Now it wouldn't be a blog post from me if I didn't waffle a little. So why should 2016 be any different *wink
My DD was a beautiful ballet dancer and danced into her early twenties. She has an Associate Degree in dance as well as her Degree in Education. She is a born teacher but her dance background has enchanced her students experience on many occasions. Often affording disadvantaged students an introduction to the joy of dancing. When she finally hung up her ballet shoes I managed to keep her last pair of pointe shoes....as you can see she and they worked very hard...boy did I hand darn the toes of heaps of these over the years! Would make you cry to see what happened everytime to all your hard work lol!
I had always wanted to draw them....unadorned, hoping to depict the hard work that goes on behind the scenes in pursuit of their art.
DD is quite chuffed with my efforts...
I like that I managed the "totally worn in and worn out" experience of being a dancer.....didn't want "pretty".
I must away....still a few things Santa forgot to pack on the sleigh.
