A Special Friend from NZ

Yesterday I had a wonderful day with my lovely friend Raewyn from Love to Stitch all the way from new Zealand. Queensland turned on the charms at first while we did a little shopping here..
Raewyn is just gorgeous and I felt like I had known her forever....sprung checking out the goodies!
Well I have to fess up to a few purchases too...
They were having a huge sale and the Threadworx skeins were $1 each!!!!!! I also bought this beautiful book for $5...
A beautiful book...one to drool over when you are all curled up in your chair.
My sister told me that the Cafe at Ipswich's Queens Park was quite nice so we went there for lunch and a much needed coffee.
It is a beautiful park and the cafe was very nice too.
The park also has a small nature reserve to explore with some very cute residents.
Maybe because we had a lovely loooonngg chat over lunch...not admitting to anything here. The skies had darkened and our nature reserve walk looked like this...
Raewyn still smiling despite the liquid sunshine..
I throughly enjoyed myself and was thrilled to have met Raewyn in person, not being an aeroplane person I didn't think I would get the chance with the "Ditch" between us. Can't wait for her to visit again. I was spoiled with the cutest Cottage Garden Spool with beautiful ric rac trim on it and the most adorable pins....I love them! Thank you!
On a different tac yesterday our little grandie girl Charlotte had an operation on her hands....she was so very brave too....poor girl!
Feel better soon xxx
If you are still with me just a reminder that
is still on so I may see you there. I better work out what to stitch!
Last but not least I wish you all a very happy and safe Easter.
Namaste and Blessings,
Michelle xxx
