Happy Saturday to you all. Firstly I wanted to share with you a bit of excitement (well actually I am a LOT excited). Have you seen or purchased your copy of Homespun Magazine's New very pretty Diary for 2015?
Isn't it pretty? The Diary is full of tips and tricks from all our much loved designers. Lovely Tilda fabric designs just add to it's loveliness. I am very excited to add my "Cupcake Capers" sewing set is featured on one of the pages along with a couple of tips from yours truly. Looky here.....
There are so many wonderful helpful hints in it. The diary is so beautifully put together. I think it would be a gorgeous gift for a stitching friend or treat your very own stitching self to one.....love it! Thank you Homespun!
Yesterday I finally got around to putt my little "Spring" mini from my "Seasons Stitcheries" on the stand and popping "Winter" away.
So! In my house now it is officially "SPRING"!!! I don't care that the sky is full of dark clouds!
Do you want to see a preview of a little wall hanging that was in the pile???
This is called "Merry & Bright" and is perfect to make for friends or family for Christmas.
I sttiched it in Cottage Garden Thread - Mistletoe. I know I shouldn't show you before the pattern is ready but hopefully it will be next week. I am also nearly finished a sweet cushion which I have to say is my new favourite...hopefully I can share that soon.
Now! What did I do last night? Well actually not too much as I was too busy biting my fingernails watching my Broncos get beaten by the Storm...sad face! But I did nibble a couple of these....
and finished 2 little ornie stitcheries which are also in "THE PILE"!
This is what happens when "Christmas" lives in your head all year round and NO I don't want any help to cure me of it either.
It was lovely stitching with everyone last night and I will be coming by for a visit later today. If you pop over to Cheryll's you can go visiting and see what everyone got up to as well. Thank you Cheryll for being our hostess again this month.
To my three favourite Dads, my Husband, my Son and my Son-in-law I wish you a lovely day tomorrow.
Also to all those dedicated men out there who love beings Dads. You are so special.
Namaste and Blessings,
Michelle xxx
