Well 1 year ago today my lovely Daughter dragged me kicking and screaming towards the computer insisting that having a blog was a must for me. I knew nothing. I couldn't upload a photo, leave a comment let alone reply to one. All you lovely folks out there in blogoshere have taught me so much.I still cannot believe that I have embraced blogland and it has embraced me so wholeheartedly. So thank you all!
To mark this momentus occassion I have a little giveaway just something simple.
So if you would like to win this little parcel of goodies just leave me a comment and I will draw it on 09/01/2012. The parcel consists of a vintage packet of needles, lace motif, rosebud handpainted button from Tracey Bormann, fat 1/4 of green/white spot fabric, 2 rose cards and 'small tasks' pattern.
I do hope you celebrated the coming of the New Year in a manner that suited you. I had a very quiet celebration seeing 2012 in with a very nice tipple of "Bailey's Irish Cream" with my Husband and my Mum.
I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and have managed a little stitching.
I have enjoyed this little venture and am nearly finished. I shall show you when it's completed. I am actually surprised that I managed something so bright (not usually me) but I think it was the spots that did it for me.
Anyway I am very pleased at how it is progressing.
I am off to enjoy another day of 'just being' which means veging out and trying very hard to ignore the state of the nation in my house.....it looks like someone threw a grenade into Santa's North Pole. Not to mention the abundance of Christmas treats that just cannot go to waste. You would think there was a prize for the person who managed to eat all their plum pudding, fruit mince tarts and Lindt chocolate as quickly as possible.
Whatever you are doing enjoy! The beautiful graphic below from MO at Rose Petals from Heaven reflects how I feel about my creative pursuits and I thought you might enjoy it too.
Blessings Michelle xx
