Good morning Monday

Well I am really excited I am sewing the binding on "Tea and Cakes" this morning. I have hand quilted it within an inch of it's life putting the last quilting stitches in at 11pm last night. I'm off to yoga shortly. I hope I don't fall asleep in relaxation. It will be so nice to stretch out after being hunched over the hoop. I'm looking forward to stitching the binding down. I love that bit. My friends think I am crazy but I love sitting quietly and observing the quilting as I stitch. Crazy as it sounds it gives me a great deal of pleasure and ain't that what life's about. Finding your own JOY. Have a great Monday. Blessings Michelle xxx

    I love what I can see of the fabrics. Hope we get a better look when it's done. I admire your patience with hand quilting- I have only ever hand quilted one item, my grandaughter's cot quilt almost 14 years ago.

    Fantastic start to the week - A Finish Yay.
    I am one of the odd ones who also enjoys stitching the binding down - ok so it is all about the sense of accomplishment in completing the project.

    Looks beautiful... love the colours I also did lots of quilting - but had to stop when I ran out of thread!!! Groan..... I also love that peaceful time at the end sewing the binding down.....

    Hey Michelle, sewing on the binding is what I hate, but it shouldn't be, because it's almost finished!! Hope to see it when it is done, well done you!!!
