The memories are lovely as each piece is unwrapped and placed in it's spot or hung on the tree. Remembering the who, the when and the where.
I love this piccie of my children on Santa's knee.....it was always a special occassion.....a visit to "Big Town " from the suburbs. The wide eyes viewing the moving display in the Myers windows and of course a visit to Santa....who they deemed was the "real" Santa and earned the title of "Big Town Santa" lol! I am always right back there when I look at this photo.....
The Christmas tree like most of us is also full of special decorations.
I also love my wooden tree full of beautiful handmade ornaments from blogging friends....always a pleasure to see them each year.
Of course I have to have some Christmas quilts........
Books for big people and little people and a memory box with lots of Santa pics to admire and have a giggle over.....
A collection of Heartwood Creek Santas by Jim Shore are amongst my favourites.
Especially these two......Santas with beautiful creatures with them. All of this collection have been gifts from family and a very special friend.
A few other little groupings.....
And a little bling for the table....
So there you have my Christmas decorating.....
I do hope that you experience joy doing the same....whether it's a smattering or a seasonal explosion...lol!
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx
