I have had a week of ups and downs with some health issues in our family. As my Mum has taken ill. We humans don't take the waiting and wondering well do we....well I don't. So I have been at the ready to go since last week. Still in that holding pattern waiting for more tests results etc.
So a good serving of stitching to ease anxiety has been the order of the day. No 10 in the UFO CHALLENGE was a single block from this book.
I am doing the Vase of Flowers quilt from it. Definitely gives your little grey cells a workout not to mention your fingers and needleturning abilities.
I am happy to say that I have completed Block 2.
I have even begun another block.....
My enthusiasm had slipped but I adore all the fabrics that I collected for this quilt over time and I hope to keep it in the foreground now.
I shall work on it some more this evening with all my other bloggy friends OVER AT CHERYLLS
My little Brother has just had a wonderful holiday in Japan and bought me home a gift of these 3 gorgeous handkerchiefs. 100% cotton so they may just end up stitched somewhere.
So very beautiful.
On the school pick up run I have a bit of reading time....just finished this lovely book.
The tale is set in and around the Sunshine Coast and somehow it added a little extra knowing the area it was set in. Being a huge fan of our very busy little honey bees added to my enjoyment too. I so loved it! Gotta love a good book!
I wish you a lovely weekend.
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx
