Do you ever go to your sewing room and think "I shall just see if I have what I need" for that project you promised yourself you would wait to begin.....and then before you know what has happened.......you HAVE BEGUN!
As I said I am a lost cause! I also cut out all the backgrounds for all the blocks! Oh dear! I am blaming all that stitching I did on the Cottage block in Gardener's Journal!
I do love it though. But very glad it is done!
Whilst misbehaving in my sewing room I prepared October's block for Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Colour PINK.
Only 2 more blocks to go.....our own choice or assembly time.
I found some little gems in my garden this week.....always a delight considering the untalented gardener that oversees their welfare.
Our little family has had a bit of a tough week....our little Granddaughter is in hospital after a proceedure went awfully wrong.....she is such a brave cherub. She has been in for over a week now.
She is still quite unwell and will be in hospital for a while yet....... we are hoping and praying she gets well soon. To say I am feeling cross is an understatement!
Now I am a person who tries very hard to look for the positives in life but I can tell you folks this Little Miss Sunshine is becoming decidedly tarnished! This little family don't seem to be able to catch a break!
Thank goodness I get to stab things with a needle. Lol! I am so grateful to be able to slip away into my stitching or art when worry comes to call.
I wish you all a wonderful week.
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx
