Time Away

We took a long weekend visit to Warwick to try out our new van. Circumstances have not permitted it until now. It was a  very nice trip with our new wheels. I have to say the new abode was luvverly!
The weather was quite mild, which I didn't expect. Mostly beautiful blue winter skies.
Mr R and No. 1 Son had a wonderful day at the Superbikes at Morgan Park (the reason for our trip) and were given the VIP treatment by my lovely friend Rhonda of Team Yamaha. Dear Son is still shocked his Mum knows cool people lol!
They got to check things out behind the scenes.....
They got a piccie with their hero Chris Vermeulen CV7....much excitement!
No 1 son very chuffed.

The rest of us mere mortals? Well we went to the Darling Downs Zoo.....
Croc wranglers....
Met a pretty local...
All in all a fun day and a very nice break away.

No sewing to speak of.....lots of catching up to do! Yikes!

    Glad you got to take your lovely new van away Michelle. Bet the boys thought you were very cool pulling a few strings to get them into places not normally allowed
