Mataranka

Up the highway is the wonderful Mataranka. Famous for their thermal springs. We stayed at the Homestead, just a short stroll to the pool.
Boy it was soooooo relaxing!

Pretty walks....

Lots of wildlife. Beautiful Whistling Kites overhead.....loads of birds....these gorgeous critters...

Yesterday we were visited by peahens.....the Mister showed up later.

We have enjoyed more wonderful food here, great live entertainment too. We were enthralled by this young Aussie world champion whip cracker.....amazing!
Mataranka is also famous for being in Never Never country.....more next post! Yep there's more.
Namaste and Blessings Michelle xxx

  10. How I would have loved seeing the whip cracker! My grandfather died long before I was born, when my mother was only 5, but her older sister remembered him "making his bull whip sing" and I would have loved to see someone do that.
