Lots of My Favourite people Were Born in february

There are going to be more Nan photos so just warning you up front...Firstly though I have to show you my stars...
Made all four and they are already to applique on to their backgrounds. Working on number one. I was not that pleased with my stitching as I couldn't get a perfect match of thread for my fabric and I can see the little stitches, even though I made them teeny tiny....trying to overcome my "hate when that happens" feelings about them. Hopefully in the overall scheme of things you won't notice too much!!!
As I said in my Title, Lots of my favourite people are born in February. Especially our eldest Grandson Lachie who is having a birthday today....HAPPY BIRTHDAY LACHIE XXXXX
We had a little family celebration yesterday. His Mum made an awesome "Hoth, Planet of Ice" cake.
Lachie is a mad Star Wars and lego fan. The cake tasted pretty delicious!
The grandie girls got into the "feeling the love" action...
The plugs stayed put though LOL!
So cute! The boys of course had to go for a swim...even though the water was freezing!!!
Completely nuts both of them! LOL!
I love this "Rogues Gallery" mugshot....

    What a fabulous cake. Happy Birthday Lachie. If your stitching passes the 3' test then it is okay. I'm sure it is beautiful.

    Such a beautiful family. Love the cake. Looks like creativity runs in the family. My eldest daughter was born 6th Feb. I remember a heat wave back in' 84. Your stars are quite lovely and I am sure that you are being a bit too critical about your needleturning. Sit back and enjoy your creativity girll!

    The diamonds are a very pretty progression from your work for FNWF , Michelle...
    And wow, I have never heard anyone else use the term 'plug' for the dummy - I thought it was something peculiar to my family!! the kids all look gorgeous, & I'm sure Master L was so pleased with his amazing cake!
