I have been having a little break after my recent burst of industry but couldn't miss out on joining my friends on Friday night at Wendy's for our monthly.
I so enjoyed making the little Angel for my friend that I decided I would like to play with some more. So Friday night saw me cutting these out....
Don't they look pretty all together. I like their simplicity. I tried to add seperate arms to the design but I didn't like it as much. Anyway after all the chopping I managed to get almost two embroidered and together.
I know I have said it before but I love embroidery on felt.
These little beauties kept me up quite late.
Last week I caught up with my lovely friend Monica for a cuppa and a chat. Monica is a certified
Christmasaholic like myself and as we just happened to walk through the Christmas section of Myers on our way to coffee both of us unfortunately succumbed to a little purchase.....here's mine.
As I had missed many sewing evenings due to holidays and illness Monica surprised me with a beautiful handmade Birthday gift. Monica sews beautifully. These cuties are also in my favourite fabrics!
Look at the cute Hexie card too! Thank you lovely lady. It was so nice to catch up xx
Well I am off now to curl up in my favourite chair with my latest bargain purchase.
I am really enjoying it so far. Cathy Kelly is my easy reading go to girl. I love her books.
I have to be as quite as a little mouse today as poor Mr. R. is sleeping after being up all night working on some huge changes to do with his work...didn't get to bed until dawn.....yawn! Consequently yours truly didn't sleep particularly well either. To think we used to do stay up until dawn on purpose..ha ha!
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
Namaste and Blessings,
Michelle xxx
