Finally Sewing!

As promised finally some sewing. I took my bears away to quilt and enjoyed quilting in the outdoors.
I have managed to quilt 5 blocks. I decided to just quilt in vertical lines and a little ditch quilting.
I am quite happy with how it looks and doesn't take away from the stitchery too much. Don't you just love scrappies!
The Bears were very patient while I finished off the quilting on my last Secret Sewing project....just the binding to go. Woo hoo!

    I love your previous photos - what a great break you have had - and neat that you got to squeeze in some stitching too.... the quilting on those bears is lovely. Yes, I love a good scrappy too :-)

    I love the quilt and the quilting but I would be terrified of getting my quilt in the dirt if doing it outside.

    The vertical quilting looks really good. Quilting outdoors would be a different experience.

    Love your bear quilt Michelle, being a bit of a bearaholic (and Christmasaholic lol). Glad you got do some quilting while you were away. I was sure you would fit in some stitching. And of course love the look of your "secret" project

    Pretty bears,and Dresden plate.Really lovely Michelle. Love the hand quilting.I'm hand quilting a hexagon flower garden table topper and enjoying doing it. Haven't hand quilted before.I have difficulty with a large hoop so have been trying without a hoop. I think it is ok. Shirley N.Z.
